Bauchi: FRSC Sector Commander Assumes Duty.


The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), RS12.1 Bauchi Sector Command, has announced that Corps Commander Luka Caleb Sambo has assumed duty as the new Sector Commander in the state.

According to a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, RC Kayo Musa, and issued on April 10, 2026, CC Luka took over on Monday, April 13, 2026, following the retirement of his predecessor, Corps Commander Apaji Danladi Boyi, on April 2, 2026.

Prior to his posting to Bauchi, CC Luka served in the Training Department at the FRSC National Headquarters in Abuja. He was enlisted into the Corps in 1996 as a Cadet Assistant Route Commander.

The statement described him as an experienced administrator and disciplined officer who has served in various capacities across the country.

His previous roles include Unit Commander in Katsina-Ala, Benue State; Unit Commander in Nasarawa Eggon, Nasarawa State; and Deputy Corps Commander (DCC), Head of Operations at the Nasarawa Sector Command, among others.

CC Luka is also a Lead Auditor of the Quality Management System. He is married and blessed with children.
