The newly posted Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim, has formally assumed duty at the Bauchi State Ministry of Education.
He was accompanied to the Ministry by the management of the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Board, led by its Executive Chairman, Dr. Rilwan Mohamed.
Speaking during the brief reception, Dr. Rilwan described the appointment as a welcome development, noting that the education sector is fortunate to have a seasoned administrator like Ahmed Ibrahim. He commended the new Permanent Secretary for his hard work, dedication, and proven track record in public service.
In his remarks, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to serve. He pledged to discharge his responsibilities with loyalty, professionalism, and a strong commitment to advancing the education sector in the state.
Also speaking, the Commissioner for Education, Honorable Abdulkadir Ibrahim (Chikasoro Bauchi), welcomed the new Permanent Secretary and expressed confidence in his capacity to deliver. He noted that , Ahmed Ibrahim brings a wealth of experience to the Ministry.
The Commissioner emphasized that the Ministry of Education remains one of the key priority sectors of the present administration, adding that the Executive Governor has consistently demonstrated strong support for educational development. He urged the new Permanent Secretary to bring his expertise to bear in improving standards and strengthening the sector.
He further assured him of the Ministry’s full support and cooperation in achieving the shared goal of uplifting education in Bauchi State.
